Well, let us say that we have not been giggin at Wembley or trying our luck with a talent show.

None the less, Quei Due are still doing music. The latest of these performances was on the couch of Chalkstar Film, a new Oxford based film company, who have been kind enough to have us as part of their “couch sessions”.

The result is three beautifully looking (and hopefully sounding) extracts from our latest musical efforts.

The first of the series is closely related to our love for Marisa Monte, and it is the song that baptised her career as Brazil’s first lady of song. So here it is “Bem qui si quis”, a song written by Italian singer songwriter Pino Daniele and reworded in Portuguese by Marisa’s own producer Nelson Motta.

Hopefully my home-made Portuguese will bring justice to this beautiful song.
